Golden Globes Predictions

Tomorrow is the 62nd Golden Globes. I have been able to see the six films nominated for Best Motion Picture Drama. They are all great films and it is hard to choose which one is the best. Four of the films are based on the lives of real people: Howard Hughes, James Matthew Barrie, Alfred Kinsey, and Paul Rusesabagina. Which film will win? Aviator will probably win because it's Scorsese and it's a Hollywood film. My pick would probably be Hotel Rwanda (Don Cheadle is great in it); this film and Closer captured me the most. I loved Closer because it is about relationships and the movie has many layers. Other films in the Musical/Comedy category that are also great films are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Sideways. The Best Foreign Language film should go to House of Flying Daggers. The best actor/actress categories should go to Don Cheadle, Hillary Swank, Kate Winslet, and Paul Giamatti or Jamie Foxx. We will see tomorrow.
