My Seven Year Theory

I have noticed that it takes an actor an average of seven years from his first role in a well known film to hit it big. For example, the actor may have a small roll in a mainstream film, but after about 7 years, he gets a big role in a Hollywood film and becomes a household name. I found this to be true for most actors. On average, seven years, give or take a year. For example, Jude Law, his first mainstream film that we know is Gattaca that was in 1997. You add seven years to 1997 and it's 2004. And in 2004, which is almost the peak of his career, he made Closer, Alfie, and Sky Captain all in one year and been named Sexy Man Alive by People magazine. You can go ahead and try this theory on other actors, with the exception of Tom Cruise just because, you know, he's Tom Cruise.
